PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hair cosmetic preventing or ameliorating damage to hair by exposure to sunlight or use of a dryer and having excellent effects of affording glossy hair with body and stiffness and even excellent effects on prevention of discoloration of the hair color. SOLUTION: The hair cosmetic comprises one or two or more kinds selected from an extract from Paeonia lactiflora, an extract from Cassia mimosolides, an extract from Polygonum bistorta and an extract from Geranium thunbergii and a specific silicone block copolymer in which a reactive group is introduced.
