The present invention includes cement compositions and methods for using such cement compositions to coat pipe surfaces, particularly useful for providing protection from hostile conditions that may otherwise lead to corrosion of the pipe surface. These cement compositions have improved mechanical properties including tensile strength, elasticity, and ductility.
