<p>The ringbinder is used to file papers, perspex sheets or similar. It has two covers and a spine(4) on which the two ring-shaped parts(2) are fixed. The ring mechanism consists of two ring-shaped parts opened and closed with a metal lever(9). They can be hinged or swivelled, or completely detached from the spine. Punched holes(5,6) are made in the spine into which flaps of corresponding size can be inserted. When the base plate(3) is pushed along the holes so that the flaps or tongue(7,8) are released the lever mechanism can be taken off. In this state the binder is folded and the two covers closed taking up only a small space on storage.</p> |
