FIELD: machine engineering, namely manual percussion action machines such as electrically driven hammers used in building, mining industry branches for breaking building materials and rocks. ^ SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes housing, mounted in housing journal box with radial openings in which fixing members are arranged. Spindle is mounted with possibility of rotation in journal box and it has reciprocal radial grooves for engaging with fixing members. Apparatus also includes drive unit arranged in housing and percussion mechanism whose striker periodically strikes stem of working tool mounted in spindle. The last has pair of through grooves for placing locking members, for securing and releasing working tool and also it has lengthwise grooves for placing extensions of carrier in order to transmit torque from spindle to working tool. Locking sleeve spring-loaded relative to housing embraces spindle; said sleeve is designed for fixing and radial motion of locking members depending upon axial position of locking sleeve which simultaneously embraces journal box for securing (in their initial position) fixing members between spindle and journal box. In order to provide radial motion of fixing members and rotation of spindle together with blade of working tool relative to journal box and housing respectively, there is inner annular turning in locking sleeve. ^ EFFECT: enhanced operational effectiveness. ^ 2 cl, 9 dwg |
