<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing system that corrects a printing job ending in an error as soon as possible. <P>SOLUTION: When an error is detected, an error message showing the description is displayed (S81). When the presence of a user carrying an ID card in the vicinity of the own equipment is determined (Y at S82), the identification number of the user near the equipment is acquired from the ID card (S85). The identification number of a user who has issued a job ending in an error is acquired from a job management table (S86).
