<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily specify a device that has caused a problem in print quality among a plurality of identical devices. <P>SOLUTION: Upon receiving image data taken in through scanners 30a-30n together with its scanner ID, a server 10 stores the image data imparted with an image ID in a DB 10a. The image ID is stored on an image ID table 161 in correspondence with the scanner ID. At the time of printing, image data for print is transmitted to the printers 70a-70n together with the information of a corresponding scanner ID.
