METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR TREATING WASTE GAS FROM HEATING FURNACE FOR TREATING WASTE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a treating method by which the acidic gas such as hydrogen chloride and sulfur oxides contained in waste gas from a heating furnace such as a refuse incinerator for treating waste can be removed and the solid content obtained at a step to remove the acidic gas can be recycled without being scrapped.

SOLUTION: This treating method comprises a waste gas cleaning step (A) to add a CaO source such as slaked lime to the waste gas which is discharged from the heating furnace for treating waste and contains hydrogen chloride and sulfur oxides and subject the CaO source-added gas to gas-solid separation by using a dust collecting means such as a bag filter to obtain the solid content and the cleaned gas and a calcium content recovering step (B) to mix the solid content obtained at the step (A) with an aqueous solution containing an alkalinizing agent such as sodium hydroxide, adjust the pH of the obtained mixture to an alkaline region and subject the pH-adjusted mixture to liquid-solid separation to obtain the solid content containing calcium hydroxide and the liquid content containing the chlorine content and the sulfuric acid content.
