PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for an emergency report which reports a present location, via a portable telephone set that is common, by receiving positioning information from a GPS satellite. SOLUTION: The system comprises an interface part which is connected to an extension terminal of a portable telephone set, and a GPS receiving part for receiving positioning information from a GPS satellite, detects connection to the extension terminal of the portable telephone set via said interface part, acquires the positioning information by the GPS receiving part, and performs control for automatically transmitting the acquired positioning information to a base station via the portable telephone set, by a control part.
