PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a package of an aromatic container which enables a consumer to easily identify the type of an aromatic only by applying simple work without applying complicated work. SOLUTION: The package 1 for an aromatic container consists of a base board 2, and a cover 5 mounted on the upper part of the base board 2 and having a peripheral flange 9 joined with the board 2 to form a storage chamber 11 sealed with the board 2 inside a body 6, with the aromatic container 15 stored in the storage chamber 11. A recess lower than other parts by one step is provided on part of the flange 9 of the cover 5, thereby forming a vent hole 12 causing the inside and the outside of the storage chamber 11 to communicate with each other. A fragrance of the aromatic leaking from the aromatic container 15 into the storage chamber 11 flows out of the chamber 11 through the vent hole 12, and the type of the aromatic can be identified by smelling the flowing fragrance.
