PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wiper blade reducing a height compared to a tournament type and distributing a pressing force along the longitudinal direction of a blade rubber to reduce the excess concentration of the pressing force on the center part and allowing elastic trailing by a backing on a wiping surface of the blade rubber at both ends, to provide suitable wiping ability. SOLUTION: A wiper blade 11 has a lever 12 including a blade rubber 14, a backing 15 with a prescribed rigidity whose center part is curved in a convex shape toward a non-wiping surface side and which is fitted to a backing groove formed in the longitudinal direction of the blade rubber, a holder portion 21 to which a wiper arm 16 is rotatably connected, an arm portion 22 which extends from the holder portion 21 toward both sides of the blade rubber in the longitudinal direction, and a retention portion 23 which is placed at its end and retains the blade rubber.
