PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that an air conditioner requiring a particularly large space is required to be provided in a small vehicle with a configuration as small as possible, because of a recent tendency that a requirement of navigation instruments and air-conditioners for cooling and heating increases even in small vehicles in line with recent technological development. SOLUTION: A case 1 of the air conditioner 4 is formed so as to be long in the right and left lateral direction. A suction fan 5 is arranged in the case 1 on one side of the right and left sides thereof. An evaporator 4a and a heater 4b are arranged in the middle portion of the case 1 so as to tilt and partially overlap. A side ventilating path 6s is formed on the other side of the fan 5 in the case 1 so as to extend in the fore-and-aft and direction. A laterally long front ventilating path 6f having a front blowout port 8 is formed in front of the side ventilating path 6s.
