SECURITY TAG HAVING LINEAR CLAMP

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make unauthorized release of a security tag relatively difficult in a fastening system which enables the security tag to be fastened to many different articles. SOLUTION: The security tag is provided with a tag housing, a clamp main body 4, and a linear clamp 500 arranged in the tag housing, holding the clamp main body 4 and having a slot in the upper part which moving the clamp main body 4 to move in the substantially straight direction in response to a force for releasing the clamp main body 4 from the slot.
