PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a machine for inspecting a glass container, capable of performing a pair of different inspections for inspecting a defect in a bottom part of a bottle in a single inspection station. SOLUTION: This machine is used for inspecting a part of a container conveyed to an inspection position. Light sources 14, 16 of polarized light irradiate the bottle 10, and a beam splitter 19 splits the polarized light into the first polarized beam and the second polarized beam subjected to rotary polarization.
