PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a current detecting circuit for suppressing the occurrence of power losses at current detection and detecting a current without being affected by the on resistance of a field effect transistor. SOLUTION: For detecting the current passing through the field effect transistor T1, the current detecting circuit 10 comprises both a field effect transistor T2 through which a reference current flows and an inverting amplifier IA1 to which a drain voltage of T1 and a drain voltage of T2 are inputted. A resistor for setting the gain of the inverting amplifier IA1 is substituted with the field effect transistor, and the action of the on resistance of the field effect transistor is removed from an output voltage of the inverting amplifier IA1 to determine a current value of the field effect transistor T1.
