PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steel pipe pile press-fitting and drawing out machine capable of increasing rotation torque of auger without increasing size of press-fitting and drawing out machine itself to facilitate work and increase efficiency by providing a mechanism supporting rotation reaction force of the auger in the steel pipe pile press-fitting and drawing out machine using the auger. SOLUTION: This steel pipe pile press-fitting and drawing out machine is provided with an elevation body 8 mounted on a guide frame 6 erected turnably on a pedestal 2 so as to elevate and lower freely, a pile gripping device 10 arranged below the elevation body 8 and turning freely, and the auger in a steel pipe pile 11. A chuck 21 is rotatably arranged on an outer side face of the steel pipe pile 11. The chuck 21 is turnably held in a chuck frame 23 constituted integrally with the pile gripping device 10. The chuck frame 23 and the chuck 21 are fixed using a lock pin 24 to support rotation reaction force of the auger in this basic configuration of the steel pipe pile press-fitting and drawing out machine.
