Confectionery dough shapes - separated by suction and held clear - of residual strip

Dough shapes are punched out while passing by in a smooth top belt, and then passed onto a perforated, e.g. plastics, mesh belt and so over a suction unit which retains the shapes on the bottom belt but allows the remainder of the strip to be raised clear by a second belt. Function is reliable and ensures that no shapes are carried up and away with the residual strip.
