<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small and light fuel cell. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel cell is equipped with a base plate 2 formed with a material with heat conductivity; a power generating part 3 having an electrolyte membrane 9, an oxygen electrode 10 and a hydrogen electrode 11 installed on each side of the electrolyte membrane, oxygen flow passages 18 through which oxygen flows, and a hydrogen flow passage 17 through which hydrogen flows, and installed on one surface of the base plate; and a hydrogen storage tank 4 arranged on a surface on an opposite side to a surface where the power generating part of the base plate is arranged and having a hydrogen storage alloy on the inside, and a passage 30 for hydrogen which is a passage of hydrogen released from the hydrogen storage tank is formed on the inside of the base plate. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
