<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image recording device capable of efficiently recording an image while keeping the secrecy of the image. <P>SOLUTION: The image recording device 1 is provided with an upper unit 2 having an image reading part, a paper ejection tray part 3 and a lower unit 4 for recording the image, and the upper unit 2 can be attached/detached to/from the lower unit 4, and in the case the upper unit 2 comes close to the lower unit 4, the paper ejection tray part 3 is shielded by the upper unit 2, then, the material with the image recorded held by the paper ejection tray part 3 is shielded, and it is difficult to view the material with the image recorded from the outside. In the case of receiving image data from the external device and recording the image, the image is recorded in a state where the paper ejection tray part 3 is shielded by the upper unit 2, and after the user who instructs to record the image is attested, the upper unit 2 ascends, and then, the recorded material held on the paper ejection tray part 3 is confirmed and received by the user. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
