SILENCING EQUIPMENT FOR AN AIR-COOLING ASSEMBLY

Silencing equipment is provided for an air-cooling assembly in a off-road vehicle having wheels, traction motors, a power generating dynamic braking mode, resistor grids a resistor grid housing for dissipating the dynamic braking power and a blower. The grid housing includes an air inlet including noise-absorbing material. A conduit with noise-absorbing material is provide d for directing cooling air from the inlet through a transition chamber to the blower and the resistor grid in the housing. A removable cover is provided i n the conduit for accessing the air blower. The silencing equipment also includes an outlet with plurality of exhaust vanes.
