PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a head mounted display device capable of transmitting and receiving various kinds of data without interfering with movement of a user. SOLUTION: A head mounted display device 1 comprises a head mounted unit 11, a signal processing unit 12, a plurality of wires 131 and 132, and one cable 13 for conveying multiple kinds of signals. Since the head mounted unit 11 is equipped with a multiplexing / signal demodulating circuit 116 and the signal processing unit 12 is equipped with a multiplexing circuit 123 and a demodulating circuit 124, the wires 131 and 132 provided at the cable 13 conveys two or more kinds of multiplexed signals S1 and S2.
