<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator capable of detecting and notifying a failure to close a door and the occurrence of even a small clearance (state of half opened door) which cannot be detected by a conventional door switch by utilizing signals from current detectors 100 to 102 for controlling a motor 22 also in a notifying circuit 4 to detect the state of opening/closing of the door without using the door switch. <P>SOLUTION: This refrigerator comprises a freezing chamber and a refrigerating chamber having doors and a compressor 21 compressing a refrigerant and circulating to a refrigerating cycle. The refrigerator also comprises temperature sensors 42 and 43 for the freezing chamber and the refrigerating chamber, current detectors 100 to 102 detecting a current applied to the compressor, a control circuit 37 vector-controlling the compressor, and a notifying circuit 41 notifying the abnormality of the freezing chamber or the refrigerating chamber. The current detectors are formed such that commonly detect current signals for vector-controlling the compressor 21 and current signals detecting the abnormality of the freezing chamber or the refrigerating chamber and output the signals to the control circuit and the notifying circuit. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
