DOCUMENT MANAGEMENT METHOD, DOCUMENT MANAGEMENT PROGRAM AND DOCUMENT MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve function, performance and reliability of document management by enabling continuous management of entire relevant documents including those on a network by linking a document before transition and a document after the transition which sequentially undergoes transition.

SOLUTION: A common ID is provided for an original document and all transition documents which are registered on the document management system 10. All information relating to management of the original document and the transitional documents including an operation history is recorded in a document management database 20 of the document management system 10 together with the common ID. At the time of performing a document transition operation or inquiry to a document, documents are linked based on the common ID by an identification sign matching means and the transitional operation is managed with consideration for relevant information.
