PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spotlight hanging arm which widens an irradiation area of a spotlight while keeping small an opening area of a ceiling part or a box body. SOLUTION: The spotlight comprising a main body, illumination lamps mounted on the main body, and an opening for illumination opened at one side of the main body for irradiating light of the illumination lamps only in a prescribed direction, is provided with a hanging arm hanging the spotlight at an upper part. The hanging arm has an upper mounting part for mounting the hanging arm in a prescribed state, arm parts extending obliquely downwards from both ends of the upper mounting part, and a spotlight supporting part for angle adjustment freely mounting the spotlight between lower ends of the respective arm parts. Irradiation directions of the spotlight are changed by changing the slanting direction of the arm parts by changing the mounting state of the hanging arm at the upper mounting part, and by adjusting the angle of the spotlight at the spotlight supporting part.
