摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems of a friction/seat reclining device with a conventional load adjusting function wherein folding of a reclining seat must rely solely on the resilience of a spring because the spring is wound around an operation shaft piercing a lock mechanism and a casing and the operation shaft is operated with a handle to lock/unlock the lock mechanism and to tense or loosen the spring, and comfortable folding and/or raising of the seat cannot be achieved because the impact at the time of folding may cause unexpected trouble. SOLUTION: The seat of the vehicle with a reclining mechanism consists of a seat body and a seat-rest part, and a friction part is formed between the base end of the seat body and the base end of the seat-rest part. The friction part can help miniaturize the reclining mechanism and reduce the weight, or simplify the spring (use of a low restitution spring, miniaturization and simplification of the spring, etc.), and can achieve miniaturization and weight reduction of the reclining mechanism in response to the miniaturization and thinning of the seat.
