FIRE EXTINGUISHING APPARATUS OF MULTISTORY PARKING FACILITY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable to securely prevent the spread of a fire to a vehicle in a parking chamber of a story directly above a parking chamber wherein a vehicle with an outbreak of fire is stored. SOLUTION: The fire extinguishing apparatus of multistory parking facility with two or more parking chambers 3 which cars can be put in to and taken out from by a taking in and out facility includes in the above parking chamber 3 a shielding ceiling wall 21 to cover a ceiling section, a fire detector 22 to detect the fire of the vehicle in the parking chamber 3 and a water spraying nozzle 23 to spray water for fire-fighting to the vehicle in the parking chamber 3 based on a detection signal from the fire detector 22, wherein a ceiling cooling means is disposed to supply and cool a space chamber 25 in the shielding ceiling wall 21 with the water for fire-fighting and also for cooling based on the above detection signal from the fire detector 22.
