PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hunger feeling reducing apparatus and method which can be used easily and comparatively inexpensively, is inconspicuous in appearance, and does not have possibility of causing rash or the like. SOLUTION: The apparatus is provided with a fixing means for fixing the thin piece, foil or powder of an electrically conductive metal or metal compound, or the powder and the thin piece, foil or powder of a magnetic body, tourmaline, carbon or carbon compound at a place between a point between the eyebrows on the center line of the face and a point of the root of the nose on the center line of the face, or the vicinity of the place. The electrical conductivity of the metal etc. is an order where specific resistance at a normal temperature is 10<SP>-6</SP>Ωcm. The fixing means applies polymerization-type silicon consisting of a base paste or a catalyst paste, or uses an adhesive tape having a pressure sensitive adhesive applied to the whole or a part of its one side.
