PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inspection system for a paper sheet bundle which can be used to certainly inspect the sealed condition of a bundle used to seal a kind of paper sheets, a handling device for the paper sheet bundle, and an inspection method for the paper sheet bundle. SOLUTION: This handling device 1 for the paper sheet bundle has a chute unit 2 inclining between the first position shown with a solid line and the second position shown with a broken line. A stopper 4 having an abutting face 4a which is lower than a thickness of the bundle t is provided at the rear end in the transferring direction of the chute unit 2, and a stop is carried out by dashing the transferring direction tip of the bundle t against the abutting face 4a. At this time, the kind of the paper sheet protruded beyond the abutting face 4a is detected by an unusual sensor 6, it is composed so that the sealed condition can be inspected.
