PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a discharge device for a sample container capable of discharging the sample container for which analysis is completed, without depending on a manual operation, and capable of enhancing operation efficiency of a thermal analyzer. SOLUTION: The thermal analyzer 2 is provided with a tubular body 3, a sample container introducing port 8 in an upper part of the tubular body 3, a heating furnace 5 for heating a sample by a heating means 4 provided in an outer circumferential side of the tubular body 3, and an analytical means 6 connected to a lower end part of the tubular body 3. This discharge device 1 is provided with a high-pressure gas introducing means 12 between the lower end part of the tubular body 3 and the analytical means 6. The discharge device 1 is provided with an opening and closing means 13 for opening and closing freely the tubular body 3 in a position between the heating furnace 5 and the sample container introducing port 8, a high-pressure gas discharging means 14 provided freely openedly and closedly in the tubular body 3 between the heating furnace 5 and the opening and closing means 13, and a sample container reserving means 11 provided freely advancedly and retractedly in the tubular body 3 between the heating furnace 5 and the high-pressure gas discharging means 14. The discharge device 1 is provided with a sample container holding means 21 for holding the sample container 19, and a sample container introducing means 15 for introducing the sample container 19 into the thermal analyzer 2.
