PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably conduct origin detection synchronized with A and B phases, in a displacement sensor used in displacement detection. SOLUTION: A signal processing circuit part 6 for the displacement sensor is constituted of a binarization circuit 101 for converting analogue positional signals a, b into digital positional signals c, d, a binarization circuit 102 for binarizing an origin detecting signal e by a prescribed slice level to be converted into a digital origin detecting signal f, a latch circuit 106 for latching the digital origin detecting signal f, a synchronization circuit 103 for synchronizing the latched digital origin detecting signal f with the digital positional signals c, d to generate an origin signal g or h, a switch 104 as a selection part for switching synchronization timing in the synchronization circuit 103, a determination circuit 107 for detecting of the optimum synchronization position and determining the stability in the present synchronization position, and a display 108 for displaying a determination result output of the optimum synchronization position determined by the determination circuit 107.
