PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for photographing a stereoscopic image required when measuring a three-dimensional shape of a geography and an object by image processing. SOLUTION: This device is constituted of one ITV camera, a memory, an elevation regulating stage, an azimuth regulating stage, a slider, a pedestal, a level, and an electric power source. When photographing the stereoscopic image, the device is fixed at first onto a block such as a tripod to set the device horizontally, and the slider and the stage are operated to direct the camera to the measuring object, so as to photograph the first image. Then, the slider and the stage are operated to direct the camera brought into a different positional attitude to the measuring object, so as to photograph the second image. The respective images are stored in the memory, using the set of images as the stereoscopic image, the camera position in the photographing is read from a scale of the slider, the attitude of the camera is read from scale of the stage, and both are stored.
