PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform hybridization at a high speed. SOLUTION: The substrate 1 for hybridization is constituted so that the main surface, which is the same as that of an optical disk such as CD or the like, thereof shows a circular flat plate-like shape. This substrate 1 is rotationally driven, centered about a center hole 2 and a plurality of wells 8, each of which becomes a field of hybridation reaction of probe DNA and sample DNA, are formed on a surface 1a of the substrate 1. The surface of the substrate 1 is coated, for example, with a polymer containing aπ-conjugated unit, such as polyvinyl carbazole, polyphenazarsine.
