The invention relates to a ball with generally spherical form such as a petanque ball. Said ball is of the type which can roll along a surface with a true trajectory. The ball is characterised in being a soft ball with a natural tendency to readopt the spherical form thereof after a deformation on being thrown and landing on the rolling surface. The invention is of use for playing petanque at home.
