The device for the clamping of long profiled components comprises retaining pieces (14) which are fastened on a support component. Each retaining piece has in relatively tensionable flat elements (16,18) holes (24) of the same or similar shape to accommodate a profiled component. When the retaining piece is in its tensioned state the holes at least approximately align so that the profiled component can be inserted in the holes, after which the profiled component is clamped when the retaining piece is in its at least partially relaxed state.
