<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous secondary battery with high energy density and improved safety. <P>SOLUTION: The nonaqueous secondary battery is provided with a cathode containing a cathode active material capable of storing and releasing lithium, an anode containing an anode active material capable of storing and releasing lithium, and nonaqueous electrolyte liquid.
