<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink for masking having high UV screening properties and high removal properties in the masking ink for ink-jets used when an image is outputted on a screen printing cloth coated with a UV photosensitive emulsion using an ink-jet printer for masking in making a screen printing cloth with the UV photosensitive emulsion. <P>SOLUTION: The ink for masking is used when the image is outputted on the screen printing cloth coated with the UV photosensitive emulsion using the ink-jet printer for masking in making the screen printing cloth with the UV photosensitive emulsion. The ink for masking contains preferably at least an ultraviolet light absorber.
