PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an easy-to-obtain high pressure hose for transporting refrigerant with reduced gas permeability of the refrigerant, more specifically an easy-to-obtain high pressure hose for transporting refrigerant with a mechanical characteristic such as flexibility and workability with reduced gas permeability of the refrigerant. SOLUTION: This high pressure hose includes a tubular rubber layer formed of a rubber composite including rubber and a tetramethylammonium salt contained therein. The high pressure hose includes a tubular inner rubber layer, a tubular fiber reinforcing layer covering the inner rubber layer, and a tubular outer rubber layer covering the reinforcing layer.
