<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pain meter capable of objectively and accurately deciding the pain degree of an examinee. <P>SOLUTION: When the finger part of the examinee is brought into contact with the contact terminals 3a and 3b-12a and 12b arranged to the scale 2 of the pain meter 1 corresponding to the pain degree felt by the examinee, the microcomputer built in the pain meter 1 detects the pain levels corresponding to the contact terminals not only to allow the light emitting diodes 13-22 concerned to emit lights but also to operate the skin resistance value corresponding to skin moisture secreted from the finger part corresponding to the pain of the examinee to display the pain levels and the skin resistance value on a display device 23.
