PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a large quantity of energy is required for deodorization when using a catalyst, in a garbage treatment apparatus using a microorganism. SOLUTION: A deodorization cylinder 11 in which an adsorbent 12 and a blower 13 for collecting and sucking the gas to be discharged to ambient air through a discharge gas path 7 and adsorbing malodorous components are disposed is connected to a gas discharge port 8 of a treatment tank 2 for garbage decomposition treatment by using a microorganism, so that malodor flowing along with the discharge gas blow can be suppressed and malodor emission can be suppressed to low without requiring energy for heating, or the like, and thus, the garbage treatment apparatus is made easy and convenient for use.
