PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to output only the image signal of the image format required by a user. SOLUTION: An image signal processing circuit of CCU 4 consists of a main board 60 and a sub board 80. The main board 60 consists of a floating circuit 61 and a secondary circuit 62. The secondary circuit 62 is provided with a CPU 73, a DSP 74 and a D/A conversion circuit 75. The sub board 80 is equipped with a format converter 81. The format converter 81 inputs digital basic image signals output from the DSP 74 of the main board 60, converts them into various image signals, and output transformed image signals. The CCU 4 is constituted so that a board for selectively performing necessary format conversion can be attached as its sub board 80.
