PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a commodity delivery device 19 for a vending machine capable of increasing the commodity storage quantity or reducing the depth dimension by enabling the effective use of an inclined shelf 25 for storage of a commodity A. SOLUTION: A first stopper 41 is rotatably provided on an end part side facing a commodity falling passage 20 of the inclined shelf 25. In commodity delivery standby time, the first stopper 41 is retained in a latching position protruded onto the inclined shelf 25 by a driving mechanism to engagingly latch the commodity A on the inclined shelf 25 by the first stopper 41. At the time of delivering the commodity, the retention of the first stopper 41 by the driving mechanism is released, and the first stopper 41 is fallen into the commodity falling passage 20 by the dead weight of the commodity A. The first stopper 41 is rotated about 180°from the latching position to a downward delivery position through the commodity falling passage 20 to deliver the commodity A. Thus, a retreating space for the first stopper 41 is eliminated from the inclined shelf 25 to effectively use the inclined shelf 25 for storage of the commodity A.
