COMMUNICATION ABNORMALITY DETECTION APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication abnormality detection apparatus which enables condition analysis to be performed without carrying in dedicated materials (measuring instrument) when performing condition analysis on the occurrence of communication abnormality after installation of the detection apparatus. SOLUTION: A conventional apparatus body is provided with a function of counting the number of times of telegram transmission/reception. The numbers of times of normal telegram reception and abnormal telegram reception from a network 00 and the numbers of times of normal telegram transmission and abnormal telegram transmission to the network 00 can be counted and held in a telegram transmission/reception count storage part 10 of an apparatus body 02a. Counted numbers are compared between apparatus connected through the network 00 to easily recognize in which location the abnormality has occurred on the network. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
