PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a speaker which increases the strength of the joint of a dome diaphragm and the edge diaphragm of a speaker diaphragm enough to remove spurious vibrations, and to provide a high quality sound signals up to the high range. SOLUTION: The speaker diaphragm 1A is composed of a dome diaphragm 2, an edge diaphragm 3, and a joint flat part 5 for joining these. A thick-walled part 4A thicker than other parts is integrated with the joint flat part 5, the outside of the dome diaphragm 2, and the inside of the edge diaphragm 3 to increase the mechanical strengths of the joint flat part 5 of the speaker diaphragm 1A, and its neighboring part. The end of a bobbin 6 is fixed with adhesive to the thick-walled part 4A to more increase the mechanical strength. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
