PNEUMATIC TIRE WITH IMPROVED DURABILITY

A pneumatic tire, comprising an inner liner layer formed of a film of a thermoplastic resin having a coefficient of air permeability of 25 x 10<-12> cc.cm/cm<2>.sec.cmHg or below, a Young's modulus of 1 to 1000 MPa or a film formed by blending the thermoplastic resin with an elastomer. A cushion rubber layer in which short fibers are mixed is disposed between the inner liner layer and a carcass layer in the range of at least 20 mm from both end positions of a widest belt layer in the bead direction. Thus, problems with troubles in manufacture can be solved, and the durability of the inner liner layer can be improved without causing a problem with an increase in the mass of the tire.
