WIRING BOARD HOLDING CAPACITOR ELECTRODE AND ITS PRODUCING PROCESS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress unnecessary parasitic capacitance in a capacitor on a wiring board or on the periphery thereof in high frequency bands.

SOLUTION: The wiring board 10 holding a capacitor electrode comprises an insulation layer 16 having a through hole 14 filled with a conductive material 12, and wiring layers 18 and 19 arranged on the opposite sides of the insulation layer and connected as specified by the conductive material. At least one wiring layer has a capacitor electrode 20 connected electrically with the conductive material filling the through hole. The through hole 14 filled with the conductive material and connected electrically with the capacitor electrode has a tapered shape spreading toward the capacitor electrode.
