<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication terminal and a contents receiving method capable of efficiently utilizing the network resources used for communication in an uplink in the case of receiving the contents transmitted to a plurality of communication terminals from a contents transmission apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The communication terminal disclosed herein does not open a wireless uplink when the value of communication band information included in session information indicates 0 bps, and is operable not to transmit an RTCP packet (a packet for describing an RTCP recipient report and an RTCP transmission source). Further, when the value of the communication band information indicated in the session information is greater than 0 bps and a prescribed value or below, the communication terminal opens the wireless uplink every transmission of the RTCP packet and releases the wireless uplink as soon as the transmission of the RTCP packet is finished. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
