PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semi-automatic vegetable cutting machine suitable for mass working which cuts a vegetable in a predetermined thickness by applying uneven working of a waveform to the front face and rear face of the vegetable in different directions. SOLUTION: A first tool rest 35 and a second tool rest 45 are arranged so as to cross respective translatory movement directions at a predetermined angle and can be moved alternately back and forth by a driving means. Receiving pieces 42 and 52 for attaching cutters 39 and 49 having a waveform or the like and setting the cut thickness of a cut material are disposed under the front part of respective cutters in the first tool rest 35 and second tool rest 45. A material pressing means 21 for grappling the disposed material v is disposed adjacently to a crossing place of the cutters, and a pressing bar 15 is movably disposed in a guide body having an input port 12 of the cut material freely forwards and backwards. When the cut material is pressed by the pressing bar to be fed to the crossing place of the cutters, the uneven working in different directions is applied to the front face and rear face of the material v by the movement of the cutters.
