PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus and a method that can repel harmful animals that cause damage to field crops, for example, monkeys effectively in low cost. SOLUTION: The apparatus and the method for repelling the harmful animals comprise a repellent-discharger that discharging a harmful animal-repelling agent hesitated by the harmful animals, a sender unit that sends a signal for discharging the repellent and a signal-receiving and actuation means that receives the signal for discharging the repellent and actuates the repellent discharger based on the signal for discharging the repellent.
