PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tool for determining a period suitable for mating of an animal, capable of precisely determining the period suitable for the mating, in which a female accepts a male, by being attached to the animal such as a livestock. SOLUTION: The tool for determining the period suitable for the mating of the animal is composed of an elastic material obtained by forming leg parts for nipping the abdominal part at both lower ends of a fork-shaped bent part so as to be fitted on the back part of the body of the animal so as to ride thereon, so that the distance between them may be narrowed according to the approach to the ends, and further forming foot tip parts warped into the outside so that the abdominal part of the animal may be pushed at the vicinity of the uterus, at the lower ends of both of the leg parts.
