PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner capable of increasing the maintainability by simplifying a heat accumulating unit structure assuming that the air conditioner is provided with the heat accumulating unit. SOLUTION: This air conditioner having a refrigerating cycle circuit R including a heat accumulating heat exchanger 12 is constituted of an outdoor unit A, the heat accumulating unit B having the heat accumulating heat exchanger, and an indoor unit C. The heat accumulating unit is provided with a heat storage tank 5 opened upward and storing a heat accumulation medium W therein, and a cover box 17 capable of opening/closing the upper face of the heat accumulating tank, storing, therein, valves and electrical parts, having a lower face from which the heat accumulating heat exchanger is projected, having an upper face to which the tube connection part 18 of a refrigerant tube connected to the heat accumulating heat exchanger and the outdoor unit and indoor unit, and allowing the heat accumulating heat exchanger to be immersed in the heat accumulation medium by closing an opening part in the upper face of the heat accumulating tank.
