PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for dispersing an Ni powder having an extremely fine average primary particle size of≤0.2μm, preferably≤0.1μm, in a state close to a primary particle without inducing flocculation over a long period of time, even when such Ni powder is contained at a high concentration, and an Ni powder dispersion which is obtained thereby, has a good printability and applicability and is used as an ink, a paint, a conductive paste, etc. SOLUTION: In the method, the Ni powder having an average primary particle size of≤0.2μm is dispersed in a solvent using a dispersing agent.
